“Nowadays people know the price of everything and the value of nothing.” —Oscar Wilde

“If she loves you now, what else matters? She’s not perfect – you aren’t either, and the two of you may never be perfect together but if she can make you laugh, cause you to think twice, and admit to being human and making mistakes, hold onto her and give her the most you can. She may not be thinking about you every second of the day, but she will give you a part of her that she knows you can break – her heart. So don’t hurt her, don’t change her, don’t analyze and don’t expect more than she can give. Smile when she makes you happy, let her know when she makes you mad, and miss her when she’s not there.” —Bob Marley

“I’m very driven by what I do. I am certainly very competitive. I like people who represent the best at what they do, and if that turns you into a perfectionist than maybe I am.” —Anna Wintour (via thepageturner)

“You don’t love someone for their looks, or their clothes, or for their fancy car, but because they sing a song only you can hear.” —Oscar Wilde

Mike and I came to the conclusion (while cuddling on a tiny lawn chair ftw) Friday afternoon that skin is like a unitoritilla without seals, openings, or sew marks. All our organs are like the burrito ingredients: cheese, lettuce, chicken, steak, guacamole, beans, sour cream, etc. Our human unitortilla holds all of these ingredients together. Although he came to the conclusion that we were sewn together at our belly button, I had to disagree. We are a beautiful unitortilla creation that can’t be sewn. When our unitortilla breaks doctors sew it back together to make sure the essential ingredients of the human burrito don’t fall out. That is why doctors exist. We are simple yet deep, deep philosophers.

After drinking that glass of Guinness and south rock dance at Renaissance tonight, I can rightly say that I am craving a huge, juicy burger from Fuddruckers.
